Delete your account
You can delete your Servicebook account at any time, in the app or by email. Deleting it signs you out on every phone and can't be undone.
In the app
- Open Servicebook and tap More, then Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Check the list of what will be deleted, then tap Send a code. We email a sign-in code to the address you sign in with.
- Enter the code and tap Delete my account.
The code makes sure it's you: someone holding your unlocked phone can't delete your account without access to your email.
What gets deleted
If you own a business on Servicebook and you're its only owner, the business closes when you delete your account. Its booking page stops taking bookings straight away, and customers who open a booking link see that the business is no longer taking bookings on Servicebook. The business is then permanently deleted within 30 days: its bookings, customer records, services, team access, payment details, deposit receipts and booking page. Your team members keep their own accounts.
If you work in someone else's business, deleting your account removes you from it, just as leaving it does. Your upcoming bookings go to the owner to give to someone else. The business's records stay with its owner, and your name in them is removed within 30 days.
Your account itself, your sign-in email and your app notifications are deleted straight away.
Can't use the app?
Email privacy@servicebook.ph from the email address you sign in with, and say you'd like your account deleted. We reply to confirm, delete it the same way the app does, and tell you when it's done. We complete email requests within 90 days, and usually much sooner.
What we keep
As the Privacy Policy explains, we keep records that the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires, and deleted data can stay in encrypted backups for up to 180 days before it's purged.
Booked with a business on Servicebook?
Customers don't have Servicebook accounts. Your booking belongs to the business you booked with, so ask them to delete it. If you can't reach them, email privacy@servicebook.ph and we'll help.
